Victory Bank

Victory Bank is a small, elliptical-shaped, submerged atoll located 13 km north from the Great Chagos Bank and 16 km south from Salomon Islands; Diego Garcia lies 185 km to the south. The bank measures 6 km in length (east to west) and 4 km across, covering an area of 19 km². Its former reef rim lies at a minimum depth of 6 m, with the circular-shaped central basin reaching depths of up to 35 m.
