Heywood Islands & Champagny Islands

Located off the northwest coast of Augustus Island lie the two small groups of islands that make up the Heywood and Champagny groups. The Heywood Islands consist of three main islands and contain the largest landmass, with Darcy Island having an area of 47.4 km². The two smaller islands are Byam Martin (7.9 km²) and Heywood Island (6.9 km²). The Champagny Islands are located west of the Heywood group and consist of Champagny Island (13.6 km²), Degerando (80 ha) and number of smaller islets.
