Banc du Geyser

The large, mostly submerged, reef of the Banc du Geyser lies 125 km northeast from Mayotte in the Comoros Islands, 112 km southwest of the Îles Glorieuses, and 200 km off the northwestern coast of Madagascar (see panoramic image). The reef is approximately horseshoe-shaped and becomes exposed at low tides.
