Bougainville Reef

The small, half-moon shaped, Bougainville Reef is located around 123 km northwest from West Holmes Reef and some 140 km beyond the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef. It consists of a 2.5 km by 4 km reef — that becomes exposed at low tide — with a small central lagoon.
