The Willis Islets are a group of three small reefs and cays spread over 12 km of the Coral Sea. The group lies around 400 km northeast of Townsville, 80 km southeast from the Moore Reefs and 39 km northwest from the Magdelaine Cays. Willis Island (South Islet), the southernmost and largest of the group, measuring around 450 m long and 130 m wide, houses an Australian meteorological station.
