Ailinglaplap

The large, irregularly-shaped, atoll of Ailinglaplap (Ailinglapalap) is located in the western Ralik Chain of the Marshall Islands, 152 km northwest from Jaluit Atoll.

Around its lagoon of 750 km² is an almost continuous reef rim upon which are 52 reef islets with a combined land area of 14.7 km² — the most important islands being: Airuk, Beran, Bikor, Buoj, Enewe, Ennak, Jabwan, Jeh, Kattiej, Mejajok, Mejil, Tobomaro and Woja. Vegetation on this densely populated atoll is dominated by coconut plantations.
