Lou

Lou, Papua New Guinea

Lou is the largest of a chain of volcanic islands and reefs located within the Saint Andrew Strait region southeast from Manus in the Admiralty Islands group. Several groups of smaller islands lie witin the immediate vicinity of Lou, these include the Fedarb Islands (7 km to the east), the Saint Andrew Islands (5.5 km to the southeast) and the Pam Islands (6 km to the south-southeast). The most significant near neighbour is the high island of Baluan, 9 km to the south.
