Fakaofo

Fakaofo is the southernmost of the three small atolls that comprise the nation of Tokelau, lying 57 km southeast from Nukunonu; the US owned Swains Island is located 177 km directly to the south. Fakaofo's 62 islets, with a combined land area of 4 km², enclose a lagoon of 50 km² in area.
