Aratika

Aratika is a medium sized atoll of the northwest situated 34 km northeast from Kauehi and 47 km north-northeast from the giant Fakarava atoll.
The atoll consists of a narrow outer reef rim of 58 km in length that encloses a deep central lagoon of 151 km² in area. The near continuous reef rim is is connected to the open sea by two passes. Its islets have a combined area of 8.3 km².
